Blue Marlin

Our larger yacht is the magnificent Blue Marlin, an Oceanstar 51. Beautifully appointed, she is capable of comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests, as well as your 2 crew, in 5 cabins.

Blue Marlin offers a range of modern facilities and features including:

  • En suite in all cabins
  • Spacious, comfortable saloon
  • Large cockpit with custom-made cushions
  • Al fresco dining at full-size cockpit table
  • Bimini for shade over the cockpit
  • Navigation systems, including GPS and autopilot
TV, DVD, Internet access and CD Player
  • Quiet and powerful generator for electrical appliances
  • Spacious bathing platform
  • Fresh water deck shower
  • Dinghy and Outboard engine
  • Bow-thruster for manoeuvring easily
  • In-mast mainsail furling gear and a roller reefing system
The saloon is extremely spacious and comfortable. As its focus on the port side there is a large table around which is set stylish and comfortable seating that can accommodate 8 for dinner.

Blue Marlin's Galley
The galley is found on the opposite side of the saloon and this is where Lesley prepares the splendid meals. The chart table and navigation systems are also on the starboard side of the saloon, where if you wish you can plot our passage around the islands.

The large cockpit is the hub of Blue Marlin. It's a great place to participate in the action or just sit back in comfort and enjoy the ride. In the evening when we are in port, the cockpit provides the ideal place to relax and watch life go by around the harbour.

The four guest cabins on board are spacious doubles with en-suite facilities and are individually accessed from the saloon. They are comfortable and bright with good ventilation and ample storage space in both the cabins and their bathrooms.

On the foredeck there are large tailored mattresses and cushions on which you can relax and sunbathe under the warm Greek sunshine as you watch the islands pass by. A bathing platform at the stern of the yacht provides easy access to the sea and immediately at hand is the fresh water deck shower to wash away the salt after your swim.

Also at the stern of Blue Marlin is the "passarelle" or gangway, which is the usual means of getting on and off the yacht. Another way we might get onboard or ashore, is by the dinghy or tender affectionately known as “Elvis” (Love me Tender). We would use him if we chose to anchor overnight in a quiet bay.

Blue Marlin sailing

Blue Marlin is a dream to sail, having all of the command and navigation systems you would expect on a large modern yacht. A traditional Bermudan Sloop rig means she has one mast supporting two sails with all of her control lines coming back to the cockpit for easy handling.

Bebela

Bebela is a Bavaria 41 and is the perfect sailing yacht for either 2 or 4 guests and her 2 crew. Her cabins are spacious and have many hatches giving lots of natural light and ventilation below decks.

Some of Bebela's features include:

  • Spacious cockpit with table
  • Large Bimini for shade in the cockpit
  • Easy access bathing platform and ladder
  • Fresh water deck shower
  • Dinghy and Outboard engine
  • Roller reefing Genoa and mainsail for easy sail handling
  • Satellite navigation systems
  • VHF Radio

Bebela's chart table

At the aft end of the saloon on the starboard side is the chart table. It is fully equipped, including a CD player, VHF radio and on-board navigation systems where you can plot our passage around the islands.

It is from the saloon that access is gained to all of Bebela's guest cabins. The generous forepeak is en-suite and has a wide and comfortable double-bed, with well-designed storage space surrounding the cabin.

The double cabins at the stern share the spacious aft bathroom. They offer full-size double beds with plenty of storage space and hatches.

Bebela's cockpit can seat 6 in safety and comfort and has a large bimini, providing cool shade when required.

Lunch is served on Bebela off the coast of Greece
There is a purpose-built table to cater for al-fresco dining and, with lots of cushions scattered around it, it also makes a great place to relax and watch life pass by in our port of call for the night.

The sailing action takes place in the cockpit and Bebela is a great boat to sail. Even in very light winds she can pick up her skirts and really take off. She is a Bermudan rigged sloop, meaning she has one mast supporting two sails, both of which roll away for easier handling. All of the control lines come back from the mast and foredeck and into the cockpit, making her a great boat to learn to sail.
